AIMIM has ended its electoral alliance with Humayun Kabir’s AUJP following a sting video allegedly showing Kabir discussing a Rs 1,000-crore deal with BJP and suggesting Muslim voters be misled. AIMIM stated it cannot associate with statements questioning the integrity of Bengal’s Muslims and will now contest independently.
