Iran has strongly responded to US President Donald Trump’s recent threat concerning the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran’s Parliament Speaker accused Trump of reckless escalation driven by Israeli interests. Trump had issued an ultimatum demanding the reopening of the vital oil route. Iran rejected the threat, with military officials calling Trump’s remarks ‘stupid’.
