A four-storey building collapsed near the bus stand in Kotma, Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, killing one person and injuring three others who were rescued. The nearly 10-year-old lodge crumbled around 5:30 pm, trapping guests, staff, and labourers. Excavation work in an adjacent house is suspected to have weakened the structure, prompting an inquiry by the district administration.
