A 23-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner in Bengaluru, who then attempted to stage it as a suicide. Police investigation revealed strangulation, leading to the accused’s arrest. The victim had previously complained of frequent assaults and caste-based abuse by her partner. A case has been registered under murder and SC/ST Act provisions.
