Around 100 stray dogs were allegedly poisoned and killed in Kishtapur village, Mancherial district, on the alleged orders of the village sarpanch and gram panchayat secretary. A complaint filed on March 10 led to an FIR after intervention from the DGP. Animal activists are demanding exhumation and post-mortems for justice.
