Nvidia’s previously announced $100 billion commitment to OpenAI has been significantly reduced to $30 billion in a new $110 billion funding round. While the infrastructure pledge is also lower, OpenAI secured access to Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin systems. Amazon emerged as a major investor, committing $50 billion and striking a commercial deal for computing capacity.
