Google is turning up the heat on AI adoption across the company. Months after CEO Sundar Pichai told employees to use AI for higher productivity, managers have started informing non-technical staff that their AI usage will be factored into performance reviews. Sales employees have been given weekly quotas for AI tool usage, while engineers already have AI baked into their job descriptions.
