Haryana govt official jumps to death from 6th floor of civil secretariat in Chandigarh

A special secretary at the Haryana civil secretariat, Ganesh Das Arora, 58, died by suicide by jumping from his office building. A suicide note found at the scene stated no external pressure, though workplace stress is being investigated. Arora was reportedly distressed over a recent department transfer and was due to retire in October.
