Twelve individuals were apprehended in Bulandshahr for allegedly assaulting a Dalit family during a naming ceremony. The dispute reportedly erupted over loud music following local prayers. The attackers, armed with sticks, allegedly used casteist slurs and damaged property. Police have registered an FIR and sent the accused to jail, with further arrests anticipated.
