Delhi has launched the ‘Rah-Veer’ initiative, offering a Rs 25,000 cash reward and certificate to citizens who help seriously injured road accident victims. This scheme, part of a Central government program, aims to encourage prompt assistance during the critical ‘golden hour’ and reduce fears of legal complications. Annually, ten outstanding Rah-Veers will receive a Rs 1 lakh national award.
