Two-time WNBA champion Kara Braxton died at 43 following a single-car crash on Interstate 285 in Cobb County, Georgia. Police said she struck a concrete median wall and was pronounced dead at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. The crash remains under investigation. The WNBA and her son, North Carolina tight end Jelani Thurman, shared tributes honoring her life and basketball legacy.
