‘They were drunk, started abusing us’: IAF jawan, his father assaulted in UP

An Indian Air Force jawan and his father were allegedly attacked with rods and sticks by members of a wedding procession near Amargarh village, Bulandshahr, on February 19th. The duo claims the procession, led by Akash Sharma, blocked the road and became abusive after they honked. Both sustained serious injuries, with the father briefly losing consciousness.
