Pakistan’s poverty has surged to an 11-year high of 29%, with 70 million people now in extreme poverty. Income inequality has also reached a 27-year peak of 32.7. These increases are attributed to IMF stabilization policies, natural disasters, and weak growth, leading to a 12% fall in real household income over seven years.
