Himachal Pradesh is increasing vehicle entry fees significantly from April 1st to boost state finances. Private cars will now pay Rs 170, up from Rs 70, while commercial buses face a Rs 600 charge. The government will also implement FASTag and online barrier auctions to improve efficiency at key entry points.
