Bill Gates-backed Breakthrough Energy has reportedly halted new investments from its Catalyst fund, which aimed to scale green technologies. This decision follows “high hundreds of millions of dollars” invested in 10 startups. The fund’s spokesperson stated it has transitioned to managing existing companies, with no immediate plans for further fundraising.
