India has urged France to increase the ‘Make-in-India’ component to 50% for the upcoming 114 Rafale fighter jet deal, including engine manufacturing and overhauling. This comes as both nations renewed their defense cooperation agreement for another decade, also agreeing to manufacture Hammer missiles in India.
