American bobsledder Elana Meyers Taylor created history at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics on February 16. The 41-year-old won the women’s monobob and secured her first Olympic gold medal. It was the sixth Olympic medal of her career. The achievement tied her with speed skating legend Bonnie Blair for the most Winter Olympic medals by an American woman.
