Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has stayed minority status certificates for at least 75 educational institutes following allegations of irregularities. The decision came after opposition members demanded an inquiry into how these certificates were issued so quickly after the death of then-deputy CM Ajit Pawar.
