CBSE has clarified new Class 10 Board Exam rules starting 2026. Appearing in the first exam is mandatory; missing three or more subjects disqualifies students from the second attempt. The second exam is for improvement, compartment, or eligible replacement categories only. Additional subjects are not permitted, emphasizing the importance of appearing for all subjects initially.
