A tragic road accident near Jindal on Tumakuru Road claimed five lives late Saturday night when a speeding car crashed into a divider, veered into oncoming traffic, and collided head-on with a KSRTC bus. Four car occupants died instantly, and the critically injured driver later succumbed. The bus was carrying 42 passengers, with a few sustaining minor injuries.
