The ICC–PCB standoff over the India–Pakistan T20 World Cup clash ended after the Emirates Cricket Board general secretary Mubashshir Usmani played a key behind-the-scenes role in easing tensions. Usmani’s intervention helped align the ICC, PCB and BCB, paving way for Pakistan to reverse their boycott and agree to play the February 15 fixture in Colombo.
