A Fokker 50 aircraft carrying 55 people experienced a technical fault shortly after takeoff from Mogadishu, forcing an emergency landing. The plane overshot the runway and came to rest in shallow water. All passengers and crew were safely evacuated, with the pilot commended for his swift actions.
