US-based AI startup Anthropic is facing a lawsuit in India from a local software company also named Anthropic. The Indian firm claims prior use of the name and is seeking damages due to customer confusion amid Anthropic’s expansion plans in the country. The Karnataka court has issued a notice to the AI firm.
