Rafael Nadal sent support to Lindsey Vonn after her shocking crash in the Winter Olympics downhill event, calling her an inspiration and urging her to stay strong. Vonn was injured just seconds into her run and taken to hospital by helicopter. Teammate Breezy Johnson won gold but expressed concern for Vonn, while her sister called the crash heartbreaking. Vonn had been attempting a comeback despite a ruptured ACL.
