UK’s Ofcom has revoked broadcasting licences for MATV National and MATV Music, held by Middlesex Broadcasting Corporation Limited. The regulator determined that MATV Broadcasting Ltd, where Kuldeep Shekhawat is a director, exercised editorial control, not the licence holder. Ofcom cited Shekhawat’s role as president of Overseas Friends of BJP (UK) as a potential disqualification due to political affiliations.
