Widowed DIL’s maintenance survives FIL’s death: Delhi High Court

The ruling settles a long-standing interpretative question that has existed long in relation to Sections 19, 21 and 22 of the HAMA and has extensive consequences on widowed women who are left without a means of livelihood after the death of their husband.
