Tragedy struck the Surajkund Mela in Faridabad Saturday evening when a swing ride collapsed, killing a police inspector and injuring thirteen others. The brave officer lost his life attempting to rescue people as the ride tilted. Authorities have vowed swift action against the operator, with an FIR to be registered.
