A spa employee in Thiruvalla was allegedly gang-raped by a Kaapa case accused and five accomplices after the owner refused to pay extortion money. The prime accused, Subin Alexander, and another individual were arrested. The victim was threatened with a knife, filmed, and assaulted during the incident.
