Sri Lanka Cricket has written to the Pakistan Cricket Board urging it to reconsider Pakistan’s decision to boycott the T20 World Cup match against India in Colombo, warning of major financial losses and damage to tourism. Invoking Sri Lanka’s tours of Pakistan despite grave security threats, including the 2009 convoy attack, SLC appealed for reciprocity in the broader interests of the game.
