West Bengal chief minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee approached the Supreme Court to contest the Election Commission’s special intensive revision exercise. She had previously met with the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to voice her objections, alleging humiliation during the encounter. A Supreme Court bench is set to hear the matter.
