India’s Ministry of External Affairs has strongly condemned the theft of Mahatma Gandhi’s bronze statue from the Australian Indian Community Centre in Melbourne. The ministry has urged Australian authorities to take immediate action to recover the statue and hold the perpetrators accountable for the act.
