India and the US have finalized a trade deal, reducing US tariffs on Indian goods from 25% to 18%. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman confirmed the tariff reduction, calling it “very good news.” President Trump announced the agreement, highlighting increased “BUY AMERICAN” commitments from India and over $500 billion in US product purchases.
