Delhi’s new school fee regulation law has not been struck down, but it has been rescheduled. After the Supreme Court flagged the haste of enforcing a committee-driven regime mid-academic year, the Delhi government told the court it would not implement the law in 2025–26. A Gazette notification now resets timelines, caps interim fees, and prepares the ground for full rollout from 2026–27.
