A Turkish tech executive has been indicted for defrauding venture capitalists of $7 million in seed money. Gokce Guven allegedly used false financial statements and fabricated documents to secure investments for her fintech company, Kalder Inc. The proceeds were then used to obtain an O-1A “extraordinary ability” visa through similar misrepresentations.
