While PM Narendra Modi, in a post on X, which followed US President Donald Trump’s announcement on Truth Social, said he had a wonderful conversation with “dear friend” Trump and thanked him on behalf of 1.4 billion people for the reduced tariff of 18% on Indian goods, he did not mention the trade deal at all in his post on X that followed Trump’s “wonderful” announcement.
