A shocking incident unfolded on Sangli’s Tilak Road as an SUV driver, Praniket Dattatrey Panchal, mowed down multiple vehicles and a crowd gathered for the Krushnamai Festival. The driver was assaulted by locals before police intervention. Eleven people, including five officers, sustained injuries, many with fractures, and were hospitalized. A case has been filed.
