Jason Gillespie has been appointed head coach of the new Hyderabad franchise in the PSL, marking his return to Pakistan cricket after resigning as national Test coach in 2024. His appointment comes amid a dispute with the PCB over unpaid dues, which the board has denied. Gillespie had earlier cited poor communication and management decisions as reasons for his resignation.
