Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four others died when their business jet crashed during a second landing attempt at Baramati airfield. The Bombardier Learjet 45XR, operating from Mumbai, struggled with visibility despite manageable meteorological conditions. The DGCA reported the crew lost sight of the runway multiple times before the fatal crash.
