Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and three others tragically died when their aircraft crashed in Baramati, Pune district, on Wednesday morning. The plane went down while attempting an emergency landing around 8:45 am. Visuals from the scene showed the wreckage engulfed in flames.
