A Nasa research plane made an emergency landing in Texas on Tuesday. The aircraft’s landing gear failed to deploy, forcing it to slide on its belly. Videos showed sparks and smoke as the plane came to a stop at Ellington Airport near Houston. Both crew members landed safely.
