A Uttar Pradesh GST Deputy Commissioner in Ayodhya, Prashant Kumar Singh, has resigned citing moral reasons and support for CM Yogi Adityanath and PM Narendra Modi. Singh stated he was deeply hurt by allegations against the leaders and felt it was his duty to take a stand. He plans to engage in social work after his resignation is accepted.
