Approximately 300 dog carcasses were discovered in a pit in Jagtial district, Telangana, following alleged mass killings. Animal rights activists claim the incident occurred on Thursday, reportedly on the village sarpanch’s orders. Police have registered an FIR against the sarpanch and gram panchayat secretary under relevant sections of the BNS and PCA Act.
