Andhra Pradesh has formed a Group of Ministers to review social media laws and combat misinformation, fake news, and abusive content targeting women and children. The GoM is studying Australian legislation to ban social media for those under 16 and exploring state-level laws, potentially requesting central government intervention based on their findings.
