Bangladesh has reiterated that its refusal to play the upcoming World Cup in India is solely due to security concerns and is a sovereign decision. Government adviser Professor Asif Nazrul criticised the ICC for failing to address Bangladesh’s grievances, while BCB president Aminul Islam Bulbul confirmed the board’s demand for a neutral venue, insisting the team is ready to play.
