Steve Waugh, co-owner of Amsterdam Flames in European T20 Premier League (ETPL), bats for the survival of Test cricket but admitted that playing in the T20 leagues provides current cricketers stability and regular income. The 60-year-old also maintained that Test cricket will survive because top cricketers of the world still want to play the game’s ultimate format.
