India has boosted domestic electronics manufacturing by revising customs duties. The government increased the duty on flat panel displays to 20% while lowering it on key components to 5%. This move aims to strengthen local production, mirroring the success seen in the smartphone sector, and foster a self-reliant display manufacturing ecosystem.
