Elon Musk, Sam Altman and Sergey Brin are not selling students the newest AI tool or coding shortcut. Their advice is older, harder and suddenly urgent: go back to maths and core computer science. As AI makes routine coding and formula work cheap, what rises in value is judgment — the ability to reason, build systems, and spot when an answer is polished nonsense.
