US President Donald Trump is set to push for acquiring Greenland at the Davos Economic Forum, citing Denmark’s inability to protect the territory. He shared an image depicting Greenland as US territory and stated its acquisition is imperative for national and world security. Trump also mentioned a call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte regarding the Danish island.
