‘Not afraid of crackers’: Rogue elephant leaves deadly trail in Jharkhand

A rogue elephant, distinguished by a single tusk, has caused widespread terror in West Singhbhum, killing 20 people since January 1. Efforts to tranquilize the animal were tragically interrupted when a forest guard, Sukhlal Behera, was fatally attacked. The elephant has since retreated into Odisha, with authorities now focused on preventing its return.
