A tribal farmer in Chhattisgarh consumed pesticide after failing to secure an online token to sell his paddy. Land and crop record errors, coupled with a halt in token generation, left him desperate. The district administration has suspended a patwari and issued a notice to a tehsildar pending an inquiry into the incident.
